Radar My Business

How-to

Does ChatGPT recommend my business?

More customers ask ChatGPT and other AI assistants for recommendations. Here is how to see whether your business is being named, and what tends to help.

Run the free AI Radar checkSee all pricing

Check it by hand

  1. 1. Open ChatGPT in a private window (so your own history does not shape the answer).
  2. 2. Ask the questions a new customer would ask, without your name: "Who is the best [service] in [city]?", "Which [product] should a small business use?"
  3. 3. Note whether you are named, and who is named instead.
  4. 4. Ask each question more than once. Answers vary from one ask to the next.

Or let AI Radar do it

AI Radar reads your homepage, writes 5 to 8 buying questions that do not include your name, asks each one, and shows whether you were named and who was named instead. The free Demo Trial includes one check using ChatGPT, with no card and no time limit. Paid plans check ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude and Grok on a schedule.

What tends to help

No one can guarantee an AI assistant will recommend you. Anyone who promises that is overselling.

Questions

How do I know if ChatGPT recommends my business?

Ask it the questions a customer would ask, without your name, several times, or run the free AI Radar check in the Radar My Business Demo Trial (no card).

Can I pay to be recommended by ChatGPT?
